Honda Announces Leadership Change

Indiana Auto Plant (IAP) recently announced that Toshikazu Kashida has been appointed to the vice president position, effective April 1, 2012, with responsibilities to oversee IAP’s daily operations. He serves in this dual position with Bob Nelson.

Kashida has been with Honda for 25 years, starting his career in Japan. He has served his entire career at Honda Engineering Co., Ltd, most recently as business division and production division manager.

“We are happy Mr. Kashida is joining our team,” said IAP President Jun Nishimoto. “We are excited for him to get to know our team and the local community.”

IAP currently operates two shifts with approximately 2,000 associates at the Greensburg plant, producing Honda Civic models. It is Honda’s seventh auto assembly plant in North America.
