Honda will host a Young Driver Safety Education Program from April to October that will empower Aware, Responsible and Skilled young drivers to help Honda realize its goals of a collision-free and zero-fatality future for society.
Students will get to drive our SkidCar-equipped Honda Civic to simulate unsafe driving conditions. This will allow students to learn how to correct a vehicle that is out of control.
Students will be taught proper braking techniques for ABS-equipped cars.
Students will be taught proper mirror, seating adjustments, and reverse camera usage for safe reverse maneuvering.
Students will be shown how distracted driving impairs the ability to safely navigate a vehicle.
Classes are conducted on IAP grounds near Gate E entrance on 500’ x 175’ asphalt driving pad.
Open to all associates, relatives, and members of the public.
Currently offered at NO cost to students.
Classes offered on Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. from April through October.
