Indiana Auto Plant sponsors Indiana Fever STEM Night

Last night, Indiana Auto Plant (IAP) sponsored the Indiana Fever’s STEM Night. Part of an ongoing partnership with the Fever, this event is one example of HMIN’s commitment to exposing young people to future careers in science, technology, engineering and math.

“Demand for STEM careers continues to rise, so we believe it is critical to inspire curiosity among youth in our community about how STEM translates to manufacturing skills,” said Bob Nelson, IAP President. “We value our relationship with the Indiana Fever and enjoyed the opportunity to sponsor this event.”

IAP also supports STEM through grants and sponsorships and the volunteer efforts of associates. For information about HMIN’s community involvement, visit https://indiana.honda.com/our-community.

“IAP was pleased to partner with the Fever for this event to show kids of all ages how interests in science, technology, engineering and math can lead to many career paths in manufacturing,” added Nelson.
